Mr. Richard Wong, Assistant General Manager of Alpha & Leader Risks and Assets Management Co. Ltd. and General Manager of Altra Corporate Training (GZ) Co. Ltd., has 20 years of experience in credit consulting field. He graduated from Guangzhou University in 1995 with a degree in Bachelor of International Finance and commenced his tenure in the credit operations of a State-owned bank in China. He then joined one of the largest credit information service companies in China and gradually became a senior advisor in its credit management consulting team.
Since 2006, Mr. Wong has been working in Alpha & Leader responsible for reviving our credit investigation and due diligence team. He had made considerable success in the project and then taken up a new role and become well-known as the "The Prominent Consultant" of the firm. Alpha & Leader's Client Serving Division achieved rapid development between 2015 and 2021 thanks to the dedication of Mr. Wong.
Since 2013, Mr. Wong has served as a lecturer for several institutions, including the China Association of Business Professionals (CABP), Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (Master’s program), China Credit Management Association, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Overseas Education College), Guangdong University of Finance, and Guangzhou Huashang College. He has actively promoted the cultivation of credit management talents across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. He has also served as a Distinguished Expert for the Guangdong Manufacturing High-Quality Development Forum and an Expert Member of the Guangdong Credit Association's Credit Think Tank. In addition, he has long been engaged in academic research and teaching in the field of credit management.
Mr. Wong concurrently serves as General Manager of Altra Corporate Training (GZ) Co. Ltd., Alpha & Leader's affiliated company. He focuses on the day-to-day operations of Altra, advising clients on business strategies and management, and providing credit management training. In 2025, he co-authored “Resource Guide for Credit Management Competency Training” (in Chinese) and served as a lecturer for the Certified Credit Professional program, a joint initiative of the HKCCMA and HKU SPACE.
